mold
as
art
The magazin shows the fascinating world of mold, offering a new perspective on beauty and nature. Through an interview with an expert and my own cultivation of mold in Petri dishes, I investigated the unique aesthetic qualities of this often-overlooked phenomenon. Utilizing detailed photography, I created surreal visualizations that reveal the unusual forms, vibrant colors, and sculptural beauty of mold. “mold as art” challenges conventional notions of aesthetics by presenting mold not just as a biological entity but as a form of art. It invites viewers to reevaluate their perceptions of beauty, showcasing hidden natural treasures.
