Hi, I’m Mila,
I’m passionate about typography, editorial design, and creative projects.
Usually I start with a rough plan to set the direction, but let my intuition and creativity guide the process. Finding this balance between structure and spontaneity helps my work evolve in an authentic and organic way.
I’m always experimenting with new approaches and interesting ideas,
aiming to inspire others and convey important topics in a creative way.
I thrive under pressure but also appreciate taking my time to work on things
thoroughly, whether in a relaxed environment or as part of a great team.

week
For the design of the International Week at our university, we developed a creative and experimental design concept. Our approach combines a clear typographic element with an experimental layer that reflects the workshop-oriented nature of the event. From poster design and event conceptualization to organizational implementation, we created a cohesive visual identity that highlights the diversity of the International Week and its workshops.

The main thing is colorful and bold because it’s time for the Werkschau again. The opening is on July nineteenth at six p.m.
For our project, we created unique shapes inspired by the word "Werkschau," using its letters as a design foundation. These forms became a central visual element, reflecting the creative essence of the showcase.
We designed the project with four distinct contrasts to enhance visual interest. This combination brings together a vibrant and harmonious overall composition.
We used the font Labil Grotesk, formatting all text in lowercase and placing it at the bottom edge of the posters. The word "werkschau" was always highlighted in uppercase and aligned to the right. Through this approach, we created a distinctive typographic language for the project.
We created stickers, key rings and bags, we also printed secondhand shirts ourselves.
We designed a catalog where you can revisit all the finaltheses, presented in the consistent font and
cohesive visual style.

We’re building a city out of trash.
Through an exaggerated, sarcastic exploration of recycling, the handling of waste is portrayed in a humorous and thought-provoking way. Absurd exaggerations create surreal visuals, from ordinary everyday objects made of garbage to an entire city constructed from waste.
These bizarre scenarios were visualized using AI-generated imagery and presented in a zine.

web
site
As part of a course on trend research, I designed a website to introduce users to veganism in an engaging and approachable way. I conducted surveys and developed categories specifically tailored to my target audience. For the prototype, I used Figma and enhanced the design with animations created in Procreate, Illustrator, and After Effects. While the project is still a work in progress, as the seminar has not yet concluded, it reflects my commitment to creating thoughtful and visually compelling digital experiences.
As part of the project “deconstruct”, I developed the design for the rebranding of inpetto, a project by the design agency g31. Through in-depth analysis and experimental approaches, a new visual and typographic language emerged. The experimental process played a central role throughout. The 200-page design report is complemented by poster designs, custom typefaces, and mini animations. The result is a creative and innovative reinterpretation of the original project.

mold
as
art
The magazin shows the fascinating world of mold, offering a new perspective on beauty and nature. Through an interview with an expert and my own cultivation of mold in Petri dishes, I investigated the unique aesthetic qualities of this often-overlooked phenomenon. Utilizing detailed photography, I created surreal visualizations that reveal the unusual forms, vibrant colors, and sculptural beauty of mold. “mold as art” challenges conventional notions of aesthetics by presenting mold not just as a biological entity but as a form of art. It invites viewers to reevaluate their perceptions of beauty, showcasing hidden natural treasures.
